We are excited to announce we have once again achieved full practice accreditation through the Australian Dental Association’s (ADA) rigorous, voluntary, practice accreditation process.
We first chose to complete this accreditation process in 2016, to obtain an independent assessment of our practice standards, policies, procedures and service levels. We found the whole experience incredibly rewarding for our practice, with flow-on benefits for our patients, and we were awarded three years full practice accreditation by the ADA.
The accreditation renewal process involved a detailed independent review of our dental practice policies and procedures across multiple categories. The categories reviewed include: medication safety; hygiene control; emergency procedures; patient privacy; patient rights; WH&S for patients and staff; and other aspects of running a safe and effective dental practice.
In achieving and maintaining ADA accreditation for a further four years, you can rest assured we continue to work in compliance with all government regulations, in particular the Australian Government’s National Safety and Quality Health Standards (NSQHS), and in compliance with the requirements of both the ADA and the Dental Board of Australia.
