Dr Kathy Bowman
BDSc Hons Qld BDSt Qld
Kathy grew up in Brisbane, Queensland, and graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993, with a Bachelor of Dental Studies and Bachelor of Dental Science (First Class Honours).
Upon graduation, Kathy joined the Royal Australian Army Dental Corps, where she served as a dental officer with the rank of Captain while based at the Joint Services Health Centre in Canberra.
Kathy loves interacting with a wide range of people and enjoys helping them optimise their dental health and dental cosmetics. Kathy is particularly interested in the field of dento-facial aesthetics – balancing all aspects of the face to enhance a smile.

Dr Theresa Cook
BDS Hons Syd
Theresa graduated from the University of Sydney in 2002 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours).
Theresa joined the team at Bowman Dental in early 2009. She has a particular interest in special needs, paediatrics, gerodontics, endodontics (root canal therapy) and crown work and has visiting rights to St Vincent’s Hospital, Bathurst, for general anaesthetics.
Theresa enjoys all aspects of dental care, particularly the opportunity to help anxious patients achieve optimal dental health.

Dr Caleb Auhl
BDSc CSU
Born and raised in Bathurst, Caleb graduated from Charles Sturt University’s Bachelor of Dental Science degree program in 2018. Throughout his studies Caleb worked with the Bowman Dental team as a dental assistant, enjoying the supportive learning environment and team approach to quality patient care.
Caleb’s interests lie in providing a complete range of high quality dental health care to patients in rural and regional areas and furthering his experience and expertise oral surgery and oral medicine.
Outside work Caleb enjoys health and fitness activities, music (playing trombone and guitar), and playing in the local soccer competition.

Dr Helen McHugh
BDSc CSU
Helen spent her early years in the Sutherland Shire before moving to the central west of NSW to complete her Bachelor of Dental Science through Charles Sturt University.
While studying, Helen worked with Bowman Dental as a dental assistant and enjoyed work placement in Dubbo, Bathurst and many small rural towns west of Dubbo as part of the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
Helen is particularly interested in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry for the improvement it brings to smiles, oral health and general health.

Dr Cecilia So
BDS Hons, MFDS (Lon), Grad Dip Clin Dent (Oral Implants)
Cecilia enjoys travelling, meeting people, hiking, kayaking and sharing good food with good friends.

Dr Patrick Bowman
BDSc Hons Qld
Patrick graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from the University of Queensland in 2016 and joined our team in early 2017.
Patrick has a keen interest in improving patient general oral health, cosmetic dentistry and managing gum health. His long term plan is to specialise in periodontics.
The opportunity to interact with many people and to help improve their health drew Patrick to dentistry. He enjoys helping people smile with confidence.
Patrick spent much of 2018 studying a Master of Biostatistics with the University of Queensland and in 2019, Patrick headed to the University of Melbourne to study a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics, a three year degree focusing on advanced management of periodontal health and dental implantology.

Dr Emma Bowman

Emma completed a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours at the University of Queensland in 2014.
Emma has developed a strong interest in treating children and anxious patients and in improving patients’ general oral health. Her long term plans include further study, specialising in orthodontics.
Emma likes working in a team environment and ensuring that her patients’ visits are as pleasant as possible.
